2008 Carrigan Cup Information

Judge Carrigan

The Carrigan Cup is named for Judge Jim Carrigan a graduate of both UND and UND Law. Judge Carrigan served as Justice to the Supreme Court of Colorado before serving as Disctrict Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He currently resides in the Denver area.

The Carrigan Cup was traditionally a trial competition among individual competitors from UND law and the University of Manitoba. It focused on individual trial skills, but did not include a full trial.

The Carrigan Cup is an intramural trial competition conducted wholly within the law school community. It pits teams of two in full trials against one another.
