Career Pathways

Like most law schools, UND School of Law has few required courses after the first year. Students are encouraged to take a range of basic “lawyer literacy” courses (and to bear in mind the subjects that will be tested on the bar exam).

Many students will wish to tie their course selections, as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, to their anticipated area of practice. For those students, the School of Law offers informal “career pathway” information to help students tailor their legal education to their career goals.
